The German Federal Government will grant additional funding to cover up to 100% of the further training costs for recipients of the short-term working subsidy (Kug). This is subject to the subsidy recipient being registered with the responsible Employment Centre, and the course rectifying the skills shortfall. The employer must apply to the Employment Centre for the funding in accordance with the ESF guidelines.
